Kyeni Water and Sewerage Company Limited is a Water Service Provider mandated to supply water to Runyenjes Central Ward, Kagaari South Ward, Kyeni North Ward and Kyeni South Ward of Runyenjes Constituency, Embu County. The Board of Directors comprises representatives of Stakeholders identified in accordance with the Corporate Governance Guidelines for Water Sector Institutions issued by the Water Services Regulatory Board (WASREB).

The board of the company has seven (7) vacancies for representatives of stakeholders to be selected from the following stakeholder's groups: Religious Organizations, Health Institutions, Educational Institutions, Special Interest Groups (Youth, Women and Farmers Organizations People with Disability), Registered Women Organizations, Professional Bodies, Business Community.

The applicants must meet the following criteria;
• Be literate and numerate to at least O level

• Must meet the requirement of chapter six of the constitution
• Letter of recommendation from the stakeholder's Group/Institution
