JOB DETAILS:
  Our client, in the financial services and pension administration sector, is seeking a suitably qualified and highly motivated person to fill the position of Director of Operations and Marketing. The job holder is responsible for planning, directing, controlling and maintaining all operations related to the administration of the company in addition to ensuring profitable business growth..
  Job Responsibilities:
• Provide leadership in the formulation and execution of the strategy, operational plans and policies.
• Deploy strategies to maximise revenue streams, increased market share; and ensuring profitable growth of the business.
• Provide leadership to the training and consultancy team, marketing team, marketing and product positioning, business development, proposal and customer experience.
• Serve as member on the organisation's executive leadership team.
• Ensure the pension schemes is managed within regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Monitoring and controlling services offered to members to ensure delivery excellence.
• Oversee the preparation and submission of reports to senior management, the Board of
• Directors/Trustees, and Regulator with respect to the management and performance of the scheme.
• Oversee the development and roll-out of new schemes in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and ensure compliance to policies, procedures and controls to ensure operational efficiency and effective management and minimisation of business risks.
• Responsible for staff management and development including promoting capacity building, effective performance management and employee engagement,
• Ensure the filing of all legal and regulatory documents and monitors compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
• Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

  Job Qualifications:
• Master's Degree in Finance, Business Administration, Actuarial Science or related field.
• At least 10 years relevant experience of which five years should have been in a senior management role.
• Must demonstrate strong track record of results delivery, accountability and management to performance benchmarks with strong strategic and commercial awareness
• Ability to manage stakeholder relationships and has exceptional planning, organizational and analytical skills.
