As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of our software development team and will oversee code releases and optimized deployments to the cloud.

The Role
As a DevOps Engineer, you will be part of our software development team and will oversee code releases and optimized deployments to the cloud. You are an ideal candidate if you are comfortable with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment, have a strong grasp of automation tools and have proven experience with one or more cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) .

Responsibilities include:
• Design, building, and maintaining scalable platforms to the cloud using CI/CD tools.
• Ensuring best practices in our cloud infrastructure.
• Making use of appropriate tools to deploy, test, monitor and scale our platforms.
• Partner with our multidimensional team to estimate, support, troubleshoot, plan, deliver, and maintain systems
• Guide business functions by giving key metrics and their impact on general project goals.
• Assist in pinpointing and resolving hitches and performance related issues across all platforms
• Develop analytical dashboards and reports to help partners successfully deliver on and support their initiatives

Qualifications
Preferred qualifications are:
• At least 3 years experience as a DevOps Engineer or in another relevant/similar role
• Two or more years experience writing software, preferably for the Web
• Experience designing, building, and working with CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerization.
• Proven experience with one or more cloud hosting platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) as well as their corresponding tools and services.
• Solid understanding of cloud infrastructure security concepts.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools, such as Git
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, or related field is an added advantage.
• Knowledge of programming paradigms such as object-oriented and multi-tiered development experience, and design patterns
