The Pwani University council invites applications from suitable, qualified and experienced persons with excellent credentials to lead and support the institution deliver on its mandate to fill the position of Deputy Vice- Chancellor (Administration, Finance and Planning).

(ADMINISTRATION, FINANCE AND PLANNING] – PU/ADVERT/1/3/2018

Requirements
An applicant for the position of the DVC (AF& P) must have the following qualifications;

• Be a holder of PhD and be either a Professor or Associate Professor and be well published and an academic leader in his or her area of specialization.
• Have at least eight (8) years progressive experience in a senior leadership! management position in a recognized University, such as Dean/Director, Principal of campus. or Deputy Principal of a University College.
• Have an outstanding and internationally recognized scholarship record as evidenced by publications in refereed journals and University level.
• Have demonstrable ability in strategic planning and quality management systems.
• Have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Be of the highest ethical standards, integrity and professionalism and compliance with the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya.
• Have demonstrated ability in networking, fundraising and management of research funds.
• Have excellent organizational, interpersonal and communicational skills.
• Obtain clearance from; HELB, EACC, Kenya Revenue Authority, Credit Reference Bureau and have Certificate of Good Conduct.
