Credit Control Officers
A well-established SACCO in Nairobi wishes to recruit Cmd on 1-year Contract renewable subject to performance. Reporting to the Credit Manager, the successful Officers will be responsible for ensuring that all disbursed loans are recovered on time, in full.

Key Responsibilities

•  To make follow up of loan accounts in arrears through early arrear management and use of external agencies to ensure actual recoveries are realized.
•  To contain slippages and ensure stretch loan recovery targets are met consistently.
•  To ensure timely dispatch of all default correspondences.
•  To swiftly deploy debt recovery tools at disposal in a timely and effective manner.
•  To produce relevant and accurate reports on recovery. loan book analysis and recommend appropriate actions to bring defaulted loans to performing status.
•  To maintain accurate register of defaulters and specific initiatives being undertaken.
•  To prepare defaulters' listings notifications and onward submission to Credit Reference Bureaus.
•  To maintain and establish relationships with relevant bodies that assist in collection process -Debt collectors & Auctioneers.
•  To undertake any other duties incidental to or related to the function.
  

Qualifications 81 Experience

•  A degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting or related field or CPA [K] or its equivalent.
•  At least 3 years relevant working experience at least 2 in debt collection in busy environment.
•  Possess strong interpersonal. communication & analytical skills. energy and integrity.
