JOB DETAILS:

Job Requirement
• A Diploma in food Science or any Agricultural related course
• 3 years’ experience working in a quality assurance or Compliance supervisory position in food processing
• Must have experience of running quality training programs. Internal food safety auditor is an added advantage
• Must be familiar with FSSC:22000 OR BRC OR Organic Certification OR KOSHER OR COSMOS.
• Strategic thinker with strong analytical skills
• Ability to influence and motivate others.
• Be aware of Health and safety standards and their implication in the workplace
• Ability to analyze problems , detect root causes and resolve all issues
• Excellent time management, planning, organization and prioritization skills.
• Has knowledge on food safety management systems
Job Description
• Maintain quality service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; analyzing and resolving quality and customer service problems; identifying trends; recommending system improvements.
• Manage organic and all other regulatory requirements, including Health and Safety
• Contribute and lead in team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
• Set up, implement and maintain food safety and quality control systems
• Implement, maintain and review the HACCP/FSSC: 2200: 2018 program in place
• Assess and monitor suppliers, and or any other outsourced services that have an impact on overall food safety.
• Formulate and implement quality and food safety management systems documentation
• Establish and implement an annual internal audit schedule
• Maintain controlled document files and test records in a timely and accurate manner.
• Ensure safe and quality products are supplied to customers
• Participate in development and/or revision of inspection procedures.
Evaluate problems and make initial recommendations for possible corrective action.
• Review and approve Internal Management System Documents before issue and distribution.
• Participate in decision making concerning the approval and sanctioning of farmers.
• Coordinates external inspections/ audits with certifying bodies.
• Ensuring that all documents are accurate and current in accordance with the company and regulatory requirements.
• Liaising with stakeholders in regard to external audits.
• Undertake Global Gap internal audits.
• Set up organic and Global Gap programme for fresh produce and oil exports.
• Assign internal auditors and inspectors in liaison with the Field Operations Manager.
• Conduct internal audits and review internal farm inspection reports.
Perform any other duties as may be assigned.
