Our client, the Kenya Cultural Centre wishes to recruit a Chief Executive Officer (CEO) who will be responsible to the Council for the day to day management and coordination of activities in the Centre. .

Job Responsibilities:
• Ensuring development and review of policies, strategic plan, business plan and work plan.
• Responsible for day-to-day running of the Centre.
• Advising the Council on all policies and strategies relating to management of the cultural heritage
• Ensuring proper interpretation and implementation of the Council's decisions;
• Monitoring Implementation of Council decisions and appraising the Council on progress;
• Ensuring linkage of Centre staffing to Organizational objectives;
• Providing leadership in developing, reviewing and implementing KCC's strategic plans and ensuring its compliance with the Constitution, Kenya vision 2030 and other prevailing government policies;
• Ensuring development and implementation of policies, strategies and internal control systems for delivery of effective and quality service to internal and external clients;

Job Qualifications:
• A minimum period of seven (7) years' relevant work experience, five (5) years of which must be in Senior Management;
• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences or any related field from a recognized University;
• Master's Degree in Social Sciences, Education, Performing Arts or Business Administration is an added advantage;
• Professional qualification and membership to a professional body where applicable;
• Leadership course lasting not less than four (4) weeks from a recognized Institution;
• Proficiency in computer applications;
• Have knowledge and a clear understanding of the Creative economy: Demonstrate a clear understanding of local, national and International conventions and treaties governing creative economy;
• Fulfil the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution.
