JOB DETAILS:
Mombasa Sports Club is seeking to recruit a qualified, experienced, dynamic, and strong person with managerial skills to fill the position of Chief Accountant. .

  Job Responsibilities:
Reporting to the General Manager, the key candidate will be expected to:
• Direct all financial operations of the Club. Supervise the accounting staff and directly assist the General Manager on all strategic matters relating to budget management, cost-benefit analysis, forecasting needs and internal control
• Develop policies to control and coordinate accounting, auditing, budgets, taxes and related activities and records develop, establish and administer procedures and systems pertaining to financial matters
• Prepare financial statements, forecasts and analyses for all administrative and managerial functions.
• Maintain all accounting records develop, analyze and interpret statistical and accounting information
• Evaluate operating results for costs, revenues, budgets, policies of operations, trends and increased profit possibilities

Job Qualifications:
• Certified Public Accountant with a University Degree in Business Administration Finance, Commerce or any other related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Management across multiple disciplines with increasing responsibility and outstanding logic and analytical skills as well as demonstrable capability to solve complex financial problems.
• Highly organized, able to prioritize deliverables and manage expections
• Be a self-starter, able to spot open needs and proactively take initiative to address them.
• Able to work under pressure with minimal supervision.
• Must be computer literate and have working knowledge with accounting packages
• At least a mean score of Cin KCSE.
