JOB DETAILS:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB:
We are looking for a Chemical Engineer for one of our client in the detergents industry to help in implementing manufacturing processes that result in high-quality products, necessary manufacturing engineer skills include project management ability, commitment to quality, and familiarity with chemical safety and environmental standards. If you’re also inventive and meticulous, we’d like to meet you.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop manufacturing processes that minimize waste and increase the quality of finished products
• Monitor and test processes and products found in all phases of production
• Develop and implement safety procedures for staff working with hazardous materials
• Design, plan and implement the layout of manufacturing equipment to optimize production and decrease costs
• Use computers to compile and analyse data
• Establish safety and waste management procedures
• Travel to work sites and locations to learn about project needs and design
• Assist with establishing budgets and timelines

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Degree/Diploma in Chemical Engineering or Related field
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, chemical methods and tool design
• Commitment to health and safety standards and environmental regulations
• 2 years working Experience as a Chemical engineer or similar role
• Previous Experience working as chemical engineer with cleaning solutions products will be a plus.

Level of Education: Postgraduate Degree
