JOB DETAILS:
Nyandarua County Trade Development and Investment Authority is a County Entity created under an Act of the Nyandarua County Acts No. 2 of 2020, with the mandate to provide for trade development: implementation and coordination of county investment and for connected purposes.
The Office of the Governor and the County Treasury wishes to recruit proactive, result-oriented Kenyan citizens with clear vision and creativity to fill the position above;
The Chairperson of the Board shall be responsible to the CECM in Charge of Finance

Job Description
• Provide overall leadership to the Board;
• Playing a key role in setting up the Agenda for the Board meetings,
• Conduct efficient board meetings and guide the Board's decision making process:
• Harness the collective skills of the Board;
• Lead annual Board Evaluation
• Monitor performance of the Managing Director:
• Be available for consultations with Board Members and the Managing Director and
• Ensure there is a formal succession plan for Board members and the Managing Director

• Holds a degree from a university recognized in Kenya and
• Has experience of at least ten (10) years in senior-level management in the public or private sector.
