JOB DETAILS:

Basic job summary:
To be Responsible for overseeing the day to day activities in the kitchen area in order to bring about accountability and produce quality products according to the approved recipes.

Duties & Responsibilities:
• Oversee kitchen store supply requisition based on the number of functions.
• Confirm the number of functions, assigning duties to the Chef.
• Supervise and instruct food production and preparation in order to ensure smooth workflow.
• Monitor and document food portions being prepared, account for spoilages and shortages.
• Observe and ensure that food is delivered in the right station at the right time.
• Oversee cleanliness and the maintenance of hygiene standards.
• Spearhead casuals employee and intern training
• Dispatch food in the system to the various serving points.

Minimum Academic Qualifications:
• Diploma in Food Production or any other related field from a recognised institution
• Professional qualification in food and beverage

Experience:
• At least three (3) years relevant work experience in a busy environment with one (1) year experience in a supervisory role.
