Enterprise Singapore is the new enterprise development agency formed through a merger between IE Singapore and SPRING Singapore. Enterprise Singapore will enable the growth of Singapore companies through an integrated support network to build business capabilities and access overseas markets. The Business Development Manager is to be part of the team at Enterprise Singapore’s Nairobi Overseas Centre. Our Nairobi office covers 12 countries in the East Africa region. .

As the Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for:
• Assisting Singapore companies in entering the markets under the Nairobi Overseas Centre’s coverage;
• Gathering market intelligence and monitoring news and developments;
• Supporting the Regional Director in the organization of marketing trips, missions and other events, as assigned;
• Promoting Singapore as a vibrant trading hub;
• Any other duties as assigned by the Regional Director and Enterprise Singapore Headquarters..

  Requirements
• Min. Bachelor Degree from a reputable university
• 2-4 years of working experience in business development, market analysis, marketing or related fields
• Evident interest in international trade and investment promotion, business development, sales and marketing
• Proven ability to conduct accurate research and compile concise clear reports and presentations
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• English Speaking
