JOB DETAILS:
Purpose of the Job
This position is based in Nairobi. The holder of this job will be an important face of the business in forging new partnerships and deepening the relations with the current partners. S/he will be responsible for onboarding new partners, managing partner relations, developing new products as well as growing the product user base.
The Business Development Executive will report to the Business Development Manager – Kenya OpCo.
Key Deliverables
• Identifying potential partnerships, creating sales pitches, and following up on new partnership leads.
• Developing and maintain a strong understanding and knowledge of all products and services offered by Asante Financial Services and innovate new ways to collaborate and create new products for partners onboarded.
• Grow product uptake by acquiring new clients by implementing active direct selling, strategic collaboration with partners as well as with internal marketing and customer engagement departments.
• Maintaining meaningful and beneficial relationships with onboarded clients to ensure that they are retained.
• Create new products and improve on existing products for partnerships onboarded.
• Do regular market research and produce research reports for use by the business.
• Support the function’s goals for the company’s results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with other cross-functional team members

Educational Level
Minimum of bachelor’s degree in business or related field from an accredited university
Working Experience
• 3+ Years working experience as a Business Development Executive or
• 3+ Years’ working experience in sales and marketing.
• Demonstratable and proven sales results
Impact of position on:
(i) Customer satisfaction – wide product range, customer journey and product pricing
(ii) Revenue – Increased revenues and array of product offering and optimal pricing
(iii) Budget – Planning and realization of set targets for self and function
