JOB DETAILS:
Job Purpose:
The Business Development Coordinator plays a leading role in the actualization of AVA’s Business Strategy and is responsible for the research and identification of new business opportunities as well as new ways of reaching the existing market.
Key responsibilities:
• Research and identify new business opportunities - including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, partnerships, products and services and new ways of reaching the existing market.
• Identify opportunities to develop and strengthen customer relationships to increase the business’s visibility and reputation.
• Present market research and customer profiles to Senior Management, recommending improved strategies to expand market reach and drive sales growth.
• Prepare implementation plans and financial targets to ensure alignment with AVA and Simba long term Strategies.
• Manage the internal approval process of capital investments by preparing briefing documents, business plans and presentations, detailed financial and risk/reward analysis, and final recommendation for management.
• Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media and display advertising campaigns
• Lead the setting of annual business objectives and develop a tracking & review mechanism
• To actively monitor project risks to foresee/identify potential problems and proactively identify solutions to address in advance
• To complete post implementation reviews to ensure successful delivery has been achieved and to ensure that improvements can be made for future projects
• And any other duties as assigned by immediate supervisor
Required qualifications and experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or related field; Master's degree is advantageous.
• Business Development, Strategy, Sales, or Marketing experience.
• Strong business acumen and ability to translate Strategy to potential business impacts.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a
• group of Customers, Investors, Partners, Senior Managers, and Subject Matter Experts
• Strong analytical, project and product management skills, including a thorough understanding of
• to interpret business needs and translate them into operational requirements
• Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills.
• Highly motivated with the ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of ISO Standards, (eg. 9001, 14001, 45001, etc)
Critical Competencies required:
• Aptitude in decision-making and working with numbers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in collecting and analysing data.
• Talent in negotiations and networking
• A person of high integrity.
