JOB DETAILS:
Nakuru Water and Sanitation Services Company Ltd (NAWASSCO) is a corporate entity incorporated in September 2003 under the companies Act CAP 486 of the Laws of Kenya. The County Government of Nakuru is the sole shareholder. NAWASSCO family is made up of Board of Directors, Corporate Management Team, Senior Management, Supervisors and Unionsable Staff. The daily running of the business is undertaken by the Corporate Management Team headed by the Managing Director.
The County Government of Nakuru and Nakuru Water and Sanitation Services Company Limited (Nawassco) invites interested persons to serve as members of the board of Nawassco to represent the following stakeholders:
• One Representative of Institutions (Schools, Colleges, Research, Universities) active within Nakuru Municipality (Nakuru East and Nakuru West sub counties)
• One Representative from the Manufacturing Community active with Nakuru Municipality (Nakuru East and Nakuru West sub counties .

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
To be eligible all persons appointed to the Board shall have a minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in the following background.
• CPA – Experience in Accounting/Finance – must be in good standing atInstitute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya and produce letterto that effect.
OR
• Human Resource Degree and Practitioner – Must be in good standing with the Institute of Human Resource Management.
• Must have a minimum of seven years working experience in the core profession of the person or have run a registered own enterprise for a minimum of seven years
• Must meet the leadership and integrity criteria under the Constitution Chapter 6 and meets the Fit and Proper Test Criteria from WASREB.
• Must have attended a Corporate Governance training in a recognized institution
