JOB DETAILS:

Luminate is seeking three highly engaged, thoughtful and committed individuals to join its Board. The current Board consists of three members: Pat Christen (Chair), Jeff Alvord and Stephen King (CEO as ex-officio). Board members are responsible for stewarding the effective use of the organisation’s multiple forms of capital – financial, human, relational and brand. They serve as a strategic thought partner, advocate, and collaborator in pursuit of Luminate’s mission and strategy.
All board members must demonstrate a passion for, and alignment to the mission and strategy of Luminate, and represent the organisation’s values – Dedication, Imagination, Dynamism, Inclusivity and Integrity. They must have an international mindset and experience and the ability to govern with a balance of confidence and humility in complex and uncertain global environments.

In addition to these shared attributes, Luminate is seeking individuals who bring a depth of experience and expertise in one of the following areas:
• Philanthropy and non-profit organisations
• Advocacy, policy and influencing
• Global information ecosystems
