Strategy and Design
1. Define local Inventory policies, with focus on improving cash position by efficiently managing the inventory.
2. Define replenishment process and methods (Visual View, Periodic View, Re-Order Point, Time-Phased Order Point)
3. Continuously evaluate inventory policy in terms of safety stock and average coverage days. Make necessary improvements based on business updates.
4. Defines the BOM (Bill of Material) and MRP (Material requirement planning) for Co-Packing activities.
5. Ensure all planning parameters are correctly updated on planning systems.
Operational Excellence
1. Drive Supply Planning activities to meet customer expectations in terms of Service Level while ensuring optimal stock holidings.
2. Run monthly meetings with factory planners to review future forecast and supply constraints.
3. Analyze business needs in terms of products and ensure their availability.
4. Responsible for local inventory levels; balance between intended service level and optimal inventory holdings.
5. Proactively identifying potential supply issues and working with key stakeholders to ensure that they are resolved.
6. Place firm intercompany orders for local warehouse replenishment; follow up with factory planners until order is shipped.
7. Ensure best possible container optimization on inbound orders, to keep Freight-In costs as low as possible.
8. Keep track on Overstock and Slow-Moving items. Work with Sales and Marketing teams to propose actions to deplete them.
9. Work closely with Marketing teams to ensure on-time availability on new products.
10. Prepare co-packing planning and distribution planning for replenished tems
11. Participate in local S&OP process.
12. Oversee Inventory holdings along the region. Participate in short and medium term inventory planning.
13. Anticipate, communicate and bring solutions for products shortages on local DC.
14. Meassure Supply & Deliver performance ensuring and improving KPI targets.
Key Performance Indicators
1. Forecasting Accuracy, MAPE at different Lags.
2. Intercompany Orders accuracy, MAPE at different Lags.
3. Fill Rate Service Level, in value and volume.
4. Inventory Holdings, absolute value and as % of Net Sales
5. Slow Movers and Overstock.
6. On Time New Products Launch.
Qualifications
Previous / Professional Experience
1. Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.
2. Minimum experience of 3 years’ experience with Supply Planning roles.
3. Degree or Certiication in Supply Chain, Engineering or any other technical-numerical field.
4. Experience on multiculural environemnt desired.

Knowledge and Competences
1. Knowledge on inventory planning systms (e.g. JDA)
2. Knowledge on basic inventory planning parameters such as Lead Time, Safety Stock, average coverage days and inventory turnover.
3. Understands lead times from different sources and its impact in the supply schedule.
4. Understands the product lifecycle and its supply impact.
5. Knowledge of ERP system (e.g. JDE). Advanced excel.
6. Accurately budgets inventory holdings.
7. Develops best sourcing strategies and risk management strategies.
8. Advanced management of co-packing module and inventory module in local ERP system
9. Shows knowledge on Project Management: understands the methodology for planning, organizing and managing resources to achieve a project goal.
10. Local Planning software advanced knowledge (normally GPS and ICO process).
11. Manages risks; counts with alternative plans for the strategic activities of the department.
12. Is creative; challenge the status quo.
13. Technical savy
