THE JOB
Angled North helps professionals seeking higher Senior Managerial, Director or C-level roles to secure them and increase their income. This is through the Executive Talent Network, a 12-month program with personalized personal branding and placement support. We have been in business since 2016 and were named the Top Executive Career Coaching Service in Kenya in 2020 with a success rate of 80% placement within 12 months. Our clients are high-performing executives seeking to enhance their influence/executive presence and grow their income substantially. You are a focal point of our work with our clients. You guide them in career mapping, unearthing and articulating their unique potential to successfully secure their desired role. You act as a guide, coach, consultant and ally to our clients to help them see and maximize their potential, move past their fears or the unknown and deliver on our promise which is to grow their influence and their revenue. You will work alongside Executive CV Writers and Interview Coaches to deliver on our mandate. Our culture is performance-led and collaborative.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
• In the career mapping session, lead one-on-one coaching sessions with clients to assess their career goals, strengths and share customized recommendations tailored to each client’s needs. This includes guiding them through the technical assessments and leading subsequent review sessions to align on next steps.
• Guide clients in a 5-hour discovery session through questioning and feedback to help the client to articulate their achievements and contributions. You will record the session and transcribe key areas and achievements and prepare detailed, coherent notes for the CV writers.
• You will collaboratively transition the client to work with the Executive Interview Coach on preparatory interview preparation and onboarding processes into the Executive Talent Network. You will provide support as needed on job search strategies, networking and more through the term of their contract.
• You will collaborate with other team members to improve client satisfaction, efficiency and productivity. For example, you will work closely with the sales team to relay emerging candidate needs and improve their processes.
• You will also be a contributor in creating thought leadership, content marketing (video and written), event marketing, research etc. This includes collaborating with your colleagues in developing best practices, knowledge sharing and insights. To effectively contribute, you will need to stay updated on industry trends and job market dynamics to provide relevant insights.

REQUIREMENTS/QUALIFICATIONS
• 15 years of experience in Training and Development, Human Resources and Talent Management, Management Consulting, Executive Search and Recruitment, Education, Career Counseling, Entrepreneurship, Diversity and Inclusion, etc
• Illustratable experience influencing (rather than directly leading)/mentoring/coaching at senior managerial, board or c-suite level
• Comfort and vast previous experience with completing routine work at consistent quality - although you work with different clients, our processes are standardized; comfort with routine is crucial.
• 5 years of illustratable internal or external advisory work, where you audited a situation, identified potential solutions to solve the issue, drew up a plan or map for implementation, collected information/researched and did handover presentations.

KEY PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES AND MEASURES:
• Number and quality of knowledge-sharing sessions/documents delivered: We will assess the number and quality score of insights and best practices shared with colleagues.
• Collaboration Score: We will evaluate your ability to work effectively with other business functions e.g. with the sales team to align coaching services with client needs. We will also measure the impact of your collaborative efforts.
• Professional Development: We will assess the number, quality and business impact of ongoing training and skill enhancement.
• Client Feedback Implementation: We will track how you incorporate client feedback for continuous improvement.
• Alignment with Company Goals: We will evaluate how well you align your coaching strategies with the company’s overall goals and services.
• TAT: We will measure timely responses and delivery to client inquiries and requests.
• % client referrals: We will measure the proportion of clients who refer family and friends to the service.
• % client recommendations: We will measure the proportion of clients who recommend us and provide testimonials.
• % clients achieving their goals: We will measure the proportion of clients who achieve the career goals set out for revenue/income and role seniority.
• % client progress reports produced: We will measure how often you track and report client progress.
