JOB DETAILS:
Butali Sugar Mills limited is an ultra-modern sugar factory within the Kakamega County in the Western part of Kenya. BSML seeks to recruit suitable professionals for the following open position: ASSISTANT TRANSPORT & LOGISTICS MANAGER - Reporting to Transport Manager .

Responsibilities
• Manage a fleet of over 400 vehicles and 200 staff
• Organize effective transport schedule for vehicles
• Control effective fuel management/vehicle maintenance schedule
• Coordinate with cane harvesting and delivery targets
• Draw itinerary and Rota of all drivers and handle safety issues and desired compliance documentation

Job Skills: Not Specified

Requirements.
• A degree in Logistics/Agricultural Engineering or diploma in transport management or equivalent
• Valid driving license
• At least five years’ experience in running transport fleet
• Experience in a sugar industry will be an advantage
