Our client, The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) is the professional organization for Certified Public Accountants in Kenya established in 1978 by the Accountants Act. CAP 531. Since then. ICPAK has been dedicated to development and regulation of the accountancy profession in Kenya so as to enhance its contribution and that of its members to national economic growth and development in its endeavor on institutional strengthening, ICPAK is seeking for dynamic, self driven and results oriented individual to fit in a team meant to make it a world class Professional Accountancy Organization.
ASSISTANT MANAGER, CENTRE FOR PUBLIC FINANCE AND TAX BOARD (GRADE 5) -Job Ref: EHC/1353/2020
Centre for Public Finance and Tax (CPFT) as established by the Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK), is intended to oversee local tax and public finance professionals in Kenya. Its inception is aligned to the objective of raising the standards of public finance and tax practice in Kenya through capacity building, regulation, research and policy development.
Job Summary:
The Candidate shall coordinate all the activities of the CPFT Board and serve as a link between the Board and the ICPAK Secretariat. He/she will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of policies, procedures and guidelines to ensure all CPFT operations conform to regulatory and statutory requirements in place.. .

Academic and Professional Qualifications
• University Degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce. Law, Marketing or any other business-related field.
• A Certified Public Accountant registered in Kenya (CPACK)

• Certificate of good conduct from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (CID); Valid Tax Compliance Certificate from the Kenya revenue Authority (KRA),
• Clearance Certificate from the Higher Education Loans Board (HELB).
• Clearance for the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC),
• Clearance from the Credit Reference Bureau (CRB)
