What you will be doing
1. Conducting Enumerator/Agent Training.
2. Help set project budgets, Recordkeeping for expenses and reconciliation against the budget for each project
3. Field management support for crop cut exercise.
4. Field management support for yield index insurance payouts, if necessary.
5. Coordination with client field staff and insurance auditors.
6. Assisting in product launches when required.
7. Clear and consistent communication up and down the reporting lines.
8. Handling and resolving customer complaints from farmers and stakeholders as needed
9. Submitting timely reports to the Direct manager.
10. Working on Comm care surveys.
11. Data collection and data management: that is, refining the study design and survey instruments, overseeing and monitoring data collection exercises using the Business Intelligence dashboard and assisting with data quality queries.
12. Help to go to the field to diagnose issues when required.
13. Escalating issues experienced in the field.
14. Help with internal data audits when required
15. Any other duties as requested by management

What you will need to be successful
1. A BSc degree in Agricultural Economics, Agribusiness, a degree in Business/project management or related field.
2. Experience with (2 years) and proven skills in working with clients, project teams, farmers, field teams and agro dealers.
3. Experience in data collection and data management.
4. Skills to interact with clients, farmers, field teams and agro dealers.
5. Ability to work independently in a multi-disciplinary, multi-institutional, and multicultural environment
6. Must have a motorbike
7. Excellent communication and organizational skills
8. Intermediate Excel skills is an added advantage

2. The individuals best suited for these positions are those who are comfortable speaking in relevant local languages and moving around rural areas.
3. Everyone needs to be able to work "on the go": staff are expected to call into conference calls multiple times a week, and to submit communications on email and other mediums throughout the week. While it is difficult to keep a phone and other devices charged while working in rural areas, the best employees plan their movements well enough to ensure being in contact at the right times.
