JOB DETAILS:
Butali Sugar Mills limited is an ultra-modern sugar factory within the Kakamega County in the Western part of Kenya. BSML seeks to recruit suitable professionals for the following open position; ASSISTANT AGRICULTURE MANAGER - Reporting to Agricultural Manager. .

Responsibilities
• Developing farming practices that are environmentally friendly (soil, water labour and power)
• Planning, coordinating and executing farm activities against clear budgets, work assignments and guided priorities.
• Developing and executing pest and disease management practices based on clear planned and operational agronomic needs to the key farmer clientele including small holder farmers
• Develop Monitoring & Evaluation tools and prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports of cane, farm and business performance.

Requirements.
• A degree in Agriculture from a recognized institution
• Must have excellent communication & Supervision skills,
• Must have extensive experience in the sugar industry
• Must possess a valid driving license and be computer literate
