Description
• Prepare Alternative Channels implementation strategy in line with the Bank’s ICT strategy.
• Plan and execute strategies that ensure that Alternative channels continue to support the future mission, vision and aspirations of an organization.
• Guide senior management on Innovative strategic systems conversions and integrations in support of Business goals and objectives to deliver cutting-edge services.
• Day-to-day management role as well as Project Management role for the Bank’s Alternative Channels such as Internet Banking, ATM Channel, Web Applications, Mobile Banking, MoneyGram, Paynet, KRA ITax etc.
• Collaborate with ICT and Business units to develop and rollout innovative e-channels products and services.
• Maintain and manage SLAs with Business Units and Alternative Channels Service Providers.
• Responsible for Day to Day Support and Maintenance of the ATM Bridge.
• Research on the Best practices on compliance in the E-Channels industry and implement on all Alternative Channels.
• Drive all Alternative Channels enhancements while ensuring that all internal control checks are in place for the communication channels adopted.
• Drive Business requirements, testing, error-reporting/verification and training for purposes of increasing e-channel penetration.
• Ensure proper system release processes are adopted and are duly signed off by the relevant Project management stakeholders.
• Plan and ensure that a tested Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery Plan exists for the Bank’s Alternate Channels to warrant business continuity with minimal impact in the event of disasters.
• Coordinate with other ICT arms to conduct a system acceptance test prior to release of systems to production.
• Drive Documentation of all Change Management activities involving the Alternative Channels.
• Analyze Help Desk feedback reports on issues logged under Alternative channels and facilitate corrective measures. Manage all client support, documentation, communication and control processes related to Alternative Channels information delivery. Co-ordinate with Marketing and Business teams to identify key target segments, formulate plans to acquire and educate customers, and strategically drive up acquisition and usage of Alternative Channels.
• Conduct market analysis, feasibility studies and trend analysis to keep abreast of industry development and identify opportunities and threats for the Bank’s Alternative Channels.
• Collaborate with various departments such as Marketing, operations, Business and external parties to develop and rollout innovative services and functionalities for different customer segments. Responsible for preparation of site visit report, site preparation, lease agreements, site approval, vendor communication, planning, tracking & monitoring progress and provide comprehensive update reports to the Bank’s Management. Responsible for uptime and operational efficiencies of all Alternative Channels.
• To liaise and be the key point of contact for all Alternative channels needs with IT, Business Support and vendors.
• Actively identify business development opportunities to increase the awareness, profitability & adoption of the Bank’s Alternative channels. Conduct channel comparison with competitor offering on services, promotions and special offerings on e-channels and update the Bank’s management. Develop Alternative Channels Budget in liaison with the IT Manager and GM Business Support Ensure all Alternative Channels projects are implemented within the budget.
