Duties and responsibilities
• Carrying out simple treatment of animals
• Participating in diseases search and reporting
• Demonstrating on milking techniques and external parasite control techniques such as dipping, spraying and dusting
• Carrying out vaccination.
• Undertaking closed castration, dehorning, de–worming, disbudding, docking and hoof trimming

Requirements for appointment
• Certificate lasting not less than two (2) in any of the following disciplines in Animal Production, Livestock Production, Veterinary, Dairy Science, Agriculture or any related field
• Registered by the Kenya Veterinary Board.
• Certificate in computer application from a recognized institution

Work Hours: 8

Experience in Months: 24

Level of Education: Associate Degree
