JOB DETAILS:

1. Job Summary:
This role is responsible for processing, driving and growing the Alternative banking Channels of the Bank including Mobile Banking, SMS alerts, MPESA retail & Super agency usage, Internet banking, ATM & Card usage, Agency banking &Pay bill and buy goods .

Key responsibilities:
•Mobile banking Registration
•Internet Banking registration
•Mobile banking pin reset
•SMS alerts registration
•ATM cards processing
•Monitor all ATM machines
•Sending ATM technicians to branches
•Ensure all ATM machines are serviced on a quarterly basis
•ATM pin replacements
•ATM card activations
•ATM and IB pin dispatch to branches
•To raise and follow up on ATM disputes with other banks
•Processing Pay bill & buy goods requests
•To ensure B2C, C2B, MPESA float ,Airtime top up, I&M Kes & USD accounts are fully loaded
•MPESA Retail & Super agency distribution to branches
•Branch daily reports
• Follow up on MPESA disputes and ensure refund for failed transactions
•Ken switch reconciliation
•Prepare monthly invoice payments to Vendors (NCR,KENSWITCH,CRAFT CILLICON,DELARUE,)
•Prepare Agency Banking CBK monthly report
•Prepare ATM CBK Quarterly report
•To test project on UAT on new projects that may be introduced into the bank

Qualifications:
•Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, or finance related field. Master’s degree an added advantage.
•Professional Banking operations training e.g. AKIB, ACIB, Business Development background
•Have a minimum of 6 months of relevant work experience in recruitment of Agents.
•Experience in banking industry or a financial institution.
•Sound technological knowledge in the related areas.
•Deep market knowledge and established relations with vendors and other industry functionaries

2. Personality: A go-getter, enthusiastic, results oriented with excellent communication and social skills. A
forward planner with clear focus, mature, reliable, hardworking and able to work without supervision.
3. Sound knowledge of the Bank’s products and services; CBK Prudential Guidelines.
4. Job skills:
•Knowledge in Operations especially KYC procedures
•Have a high sense of diplomacy and patience.
•Passion for championing excellent customer service.
•Ability to make sound decisions and handling complains.
•Ability to probe and negotiate with difficult customers (internal and external).
•Have good PR/interpersonal skills, have outstanding reporting skills, problem analysis and
listening ability.
5. Honest and with high integrity.
6. Supervisor ability: Responsibility and ability to grow, support and develop branch customer service
teams across the network.
7. Computer skills: Must be adept in use of Ms Word, Excel, Access, power-point, Internet and email.

Remuneration
A package commensurate to the posts shall be discussed and agreed with the successful candidates.
