GRADE REREC 8
Job Specifications
• Managing the facilities, generation plants & networks, and installation of substations is undertaken according to industry best practices;
• Implementing Directorate plans, policies, norms and procedures in accordance with the REREC Mandate;
• Operating and Managing renewable energy projects implemented by REREC;
• Implementing preventive maintenance and planned maintenance for the renewable energy generation plants and networks;
• Preparing daily monitoring reports to the management; and
• Preparing daily, monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual reports on renewable energy projects.

Person Specification
For appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-
• Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical engineering or its equivalent from a recognized institution;
• Minimum KCSE C- (Minus) or its equivalent;
• Proficiency in computer applications; and
• Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution
