Job Descriptions
• Conducting research and disseminating findings related to nomadic education in Kenya;
• Designing template to capture the necessary key information concerning nomadic education;
• Ensuring establishment and documentation of a data bank and provision of reliable statistic of nomads and their school-aged children;
• Analysing data relating to the basic education of marginalized and nomadic communities;
• Generating and identifying research intelligence to inform policy;
• Training and mentoring research officers; and
• Identifying innovative ideas through research which have practical significance to the Council’s mandate;
• Preparing monitoring and evaluation schedules and reports;
• Spearheads development of Departmental Budget for the implementation of work plans and activities to ensure prudent utilization of funds;
• Developing, establishing and maintaining an up-to-date database and for Research and related activities;
• Collecting, collating, analyzing and maintaining information, data and records for effective planning and decision-making

Person Descriptions
• Must have a Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: – Education, Statistics, Economics, Community Development, Anthropology, Sociology, Psychology or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution;
• Proficiency in computer applications;
