Clinical Instructor, Clinical Medicine

Person Profile Description
• Be expected to register for a relevant Masters degree or a Master Candidate in Relevant field
• Have a Bachelor of Science in Clinical Medicine Degree from an accredited and recognised University.
• Excellent presentation, teaching and learning support skills, Ability to use modern methods and e-learning tools.
• Have at least 1 Year working experience, (Working as an Instructor will be an added advantage)
• Must be registered by COC and in possession of valid practicing licence
• Born again Christian and active member of a local church.

Job Profile Description
i. Direct, Manages and evaluate student learning in clinical setting/ Hospital
ii. Assist in student’s integration of theory and practice specific to the courses learning activities and level of the learner
iii. Participate as member of the course team in the course development and evaluation activities with the lead faculty
iv. Provide timely and ongoing feedback to the lead faculty regarding individual student and group performance in accomplishment of the course outcome
v. Provide feedback to the lead faculty regarding the clinical settings
vi. Collaborates with the Hospital Unit Manager and staff.
vii. Serve as a liaison between the clinical agency and the department of clinical medicine
viii. Perform any other duties that may be assigned by the dean of the school or head of department or University Management.
