JOB DETAILS:
(a) Job Purpose
• The Senior Portfolio Officer will be responsible for undertaking analysis of mature investments and advice on viability of retaining such investments and the management of historical non-performing loans portfolio.
(b) Job Specifications
Duties and responsibilities at this level will entail;
• Initiating and implementing strategies for the effective portfolio management;
• Undertaking collections of outstanding accounts receivable from historical nonperforming loans;
• Monitor, and evaluate performance of mature investments; and the debt portfolio
• Advising on KDC’s exit strategy for mature investments;
• Advising on KDC’s servicing of debt;
• Implementation of repayment proposals and loan rescheduling;
• vii.undertaking portfolio risk analysis;
(c) Person Specifications
For appointment to this grade a candidate must have: -
• At least four (4) years’ relevant work experience
• Bachelor’s degree in any of the following disciplines: Commerce, Business, Economics, Engineering or any other relevant field from a recognized institution in Kenya;
• Knowledge and experience in data collection, analysis and presentation;
• Excellent financial modeling skills;
• Excellent business acumen;
• Good interpersonal, and communication skills;
• vii.Team player;
• Proficiency in Computer Applications
• Show merit and ability as reflected in work performance; and
• x. Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six (6) of the Constitution of Kenya

Experience in Months: 48
Level of Education: Bachelor Degree
