JOB DETAILS:
Reporting to the Medical Superintendent, The holder of this position will ensure effective delivery of clinical care to patients with the aim of ensuring optimal delivery of quality patient care and actively participate in quality improvement and provision of patient centric health services.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive and good quality clinical services to
• Diagnose and institute appropriate treatment for the clients to reduce morbidity, mortality and increase longevity of the patients’ life.
• In collaboration with the team receive and attend to patients who require emergency
• Ensure that patient data/ information is handled
• Ensure effective clinical procedures, rules, regulations which are consistent with organization procedures.
• Ensure that the clinic environment is safe and complies with infection control
• Give treatment while ensuring that established treatment protocols and treatment process as well as dispensing of drugs are carried out
• Maintain adequate drugs
• Maintain up-to-date patient records at the
Qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
• Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery or Clinical Medicine and Community Health from Recognized
• Must be registered with the Clinical Officers Council and possess a valid Private practice
• Must have a minimum 2 years’ experience working in a busy hospital environment, in both outpatient and inpatient
• Experience in ICU & Accident Emergency is mandatory.
