JOB DETAILS:
  The United Nations Human Settlements Programme, UN-Habitat, is the agency for human settlements. It is mandated by the UN General Assembly to promote socially and environmentally sustainable towns and cities with the goal of providing adequate shelter for all.
The UN-Habitat Architect/Designer internship is for 4 months with a possibility for extension depending on the needs of the Organization.
The Internship is UNPAID and full-time.
Interns work five days per week (35 hours) under the supervision of a staff member in the department or office to which they are assigned.

  Job Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the Head of the Production Unit, and within delegated authority, the intern will:
• Assist with floor plan management for exhibition halls.
• Assist in reviewing existing floor plans and record changes.
• Draft and render floor plan projects through 2D and 3D software Programs; Autodesk, 3ds MAX, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign.
• Assist in developing proposals for meeting, lounge and networking spaces.
• Assist in organizing files, documents, drawings and samples.
• Perform other related duties as required.
