Music Teacher
The position
The Aga Khan Education Service, Kenya (AKES, K) is a non-profit service company, registered under the Companies Act. It operates 11 schools in Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu and Eldoret and provides nursery to senior secondary education in both the national and international curricula.
It is part of the Aga Khan Development Network (AKDN), a group of private development agencies working to improve living conditions and opportunities for people of all faiths and origins in specific regions of the developing world. AKES, K is looking to hire the following teaching positions at Aga Khan Primary School, Mombasa:The requirements
Qualifications
- P1 Certificate, Diploma in Education, Bachelor of Education will be an added advantage
- Must be TSC registered
- At least 3 years’ experience in teaching
- Proven track record of excellent performance in the respective subjects
- Good interpersonal skills and work ethics
- Be self-driven and can work under minimum supervision
- Working knowledge of MS – office computer applications
- Conversant with the new Competency Based Curriculum
- Good understanding of and experience in handling parents and students
Art & Craft teacher
