JOB DETAILS:
Sales/Techno commercial Engineer

Job summary

Our client is a leading steel fabrication firm that specializes in the design, fabrication, and erection of structural steel works in Eastern and Central Africa. They are looking to recruit a reliable and a qualified candidate to fill in the Sales/Techno commercial Engineer position

Roles and responsibilities
• Contacting and establishing new client and liaising with Architects, Engineers, and contractors for smooth execution of structural steel projects.
• Market research & identifying new opportunities and tracking them
• Study and interpret Engineering drawing and technical specifications
• Participating in techno-commercial discussions and commercial negotiations
• Develop long-term relationships with clients, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
• Executing and planning business development strategies and activities with management
• Ensure that commercial submissions to tenders are fully complied with all necessary details
• Review estimates to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with defined scope of work
• Coordinate, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes and customer requirements.

Qualifications
• A bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the building and construction industry
• Knowledge in steel and the ability to understand fabrication drawings
• Good knowledge in AutoCAD
• Prior experience in manufacturing and construction fields.
• Ability to network and develop contacts in the steel fabrication industry.
• Knowledge of local markets
• Good communication skills
• Good interpersonal skill.
• Able to work well in a team

Experience in Months: 60

Level of Education:
Bachelor Degree
