Global Supply Chain Process and Capability Associate

ABOUT THE ROLE

You offer and nurture unique expertise and tools to all value streams across the Supply Chain division to achieve and sustain excellence. You ensure that the required processes and people capabilities are in place to help deliver the end-to-end Supply Chain objectives.

You will report to the Global Supply Chain Capability Lead

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop an External Loss Prevention Strategy, scaled by program size for warehouses, procurement stores and POS outlets:
    • Identify context- and cost- appropriate security measures
    • Develop a risk analysis matrix
    • Design and implement monthly security audit procedures
  • Develop an Anti-Fraud Strategy, focused on high-risk annual activities (input reception, distribution, repackaging):
    • Establish an anti-fraud checklist
    • Manage monthly reconciliations from all countries
    • Create quarterly report cards and recommendations for purchasing teams and country programs
    • Be a liaison with the Internal Audit team
  • Loss Prevention Special Projects, such as:
    • Research and develop tech solutions for inventory protection during distributions
    • Design an Inventory Security starter kit for pilot programs
    • Develop trainings for shrink awareness and prevention in warehouses, procurement stores and POS outlets.
  • Content development and rollout via in-country teams - Travel around East Africa to implement projects and monitor adherence to policies.
  • Academy-style initial onboarding and nurturing capability growth:
    • Build and coach a team of warehouse and logistics professionals.
    • Research a network of 3rd party service providers in transportation, warehousing, and quality management to upskill our staff in areas of work critical to program and company-wide priorities.

QUALIFICATIONS

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • At least 3 years of experience in procurement, operations or supply chain management
  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, Supply/Demand Planning or a related field
  • Experience with SAP ERP or related systems
  • Experience performing risk analysis, audit or independent advice services in more than one country

Supply Chain Operations and Data Analytics Associate

ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Supply Chain Operations & Data Analytics Associate, you will be part of the Global Sourcing Team. You will lead the data management and visualization workstream. You will collaborate with a consultant to create insightful dashboards. You will also propose and lead approved systems and operations improvement projects that result in increased supply chain efficiency.

You will report to the Supply Chain Operations Senior Manager

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead the Supply Chain product solutions (forecasting and inventory planning system, procure to pay solution and more), ensure our processes are efficient and manage a prioritized backlog of systems improvements.
  • Manage external consultants to create analytics reports to inform your supply chain strategy and operations recommendations, improve data visibility and visualization to empower internal clients, approvers and purchasers to make informed decisions.
  • Collaborate with country program teams, Finance and Tech to achieve Supply Chain goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Across all roles, these are the general qualifications we look for. For this role specifically, you will have:

  • 3+ years of experience in a Logistics, Sourcing, Finance, or Data Analytics role.
  • 1+ years experience working on the backend of a Data Visualization software such as Superset, PowerBI, Tableau, R or Stata.
  • Data and analytical skills; Ability to transform data into information and communicate it in an easily understandable manner. And; ability to maintain complex spreadsheets (can perform complex functions).
  • Top-performing academic background.
  • Proficient workplace English.
