Requirements: Bachelor of commerce degree in accounting/finance option or other related field. CPA-K or equivalent qualifications. Familiarity with sage accounting software will be of added advantage.
Experience: At least 5 years progressive working experience as a general accountant/senior accountant in a busy accounting department of FMCG manufacturing company.

Salary: KSHS. 60,000 - 100,000

Additional Attributes: Reporting to the chief accountant, the general accountant will be responsible for the following roles: - maintenance of general ledger. Preparation of management and financial accounts reports. Oversee preparation and filing of all statutory returns. Reconciliation of bank, debtors and creditors statement. Assist with tax audits and tax returns. Working with both internal and external auditors during financial and operational audits.
