A Bit About The Role
Working closely with the Chief Executive Officer, the business is seeking a COO who is looking to take the next step in their career. In the midst of extraordinary growth, they’re looking for someone who can manage day to day operations in the business, can be a multi-market person and be the CEO’s right hand. You will need to be extremely agile, and a quick thinker to succeed.
Requirements
Your daily adventures include:
• Provide management to staff and leadership to the business that aligns with the overall strategic vision of the business
• Assist executive team members in creating, growing and building a world class, industry leading business
• Drive company results from both an operational and financial perspective working closely with the finance, CEO and other key executive team members
• Owning and implementing the business strategy and budget P&L
• Working with the cross functional teams to achieve the best possible operations
• Set challenging and realistic goals for growth, performance and profitability
• Create effective measurement tools to gauge the efficiency and effectiveness of internal (OKR’s) and external processes
• Provide accurate and timely reports outlining the operational condition of the business
• Spearhead the development, communication, and implementation of effective growth strategies and processes
• Own Customer Relations
• Works with other c-level executives on budgeting, forecasting and resource allocation programs
• Work closely with senior management team to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company
• Forge strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, banks, investors and all other professional business relationships
• Foster a growth oriented, positive and encouraging environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines
What It Takes To Succeed
• At least 7 years’ experience working in the Digital Bank, Fintech, Payments sector preferably start-up’s
• Able to stand your ground and push back when needed but be understandable at the same time
• Can work without being Micromanaged
• Experience in scaling a fintech start up
• Understand B2B products
• High-impact communicator with the ability to develop lasting professional relationships with clients
• Be able to travel on last minute notice
• Understands various systems
• Can take punches but push back
